Immigrant Centre Manitoba Inc. Partnership
Westoba Credit Union is proud to support the Nutrition Services program at the Immigrant Centre Manitoba in Winnipeg. This support allows the Nutrition Services Program to offer a variety of nutrition and food education courses to more than 300 clients each year.
“We are excited to be partners with the Immigrant Centre Manitoba and help newcomers succeed,” says Jim Rediger, CEO of Westoba. “This partnership is a natural fit, as we believe that a prosperous community is healthy, diverse and inclusive.”
The Nutrition Service Program’s primary goal is to equip newcomers with the knowledge to make healthier food choices and address food insecurity – a common issue for many people when they move to Canada.
The partnership with the Immigrant Centre Manitoba is part of Westoba’s community investment strategy, helping to support a vital resource in the community. Together, they will build a healthier, more resilient and supportive community which works collectively to bring success to all its members.
