Hi, I’m Ellen Murray, BA (Hons), CFP®, CLU, CHS, CEA, and Senior Financial Planner with Westoba Financial Solutions Ltd.

I believe that with my 25+ years of financial service experience and certifications, I can help you attain your goals effectively and avoid many pitfalls of the DIY approach to your finances.

I look at a Senior Financial Planner as a helping role: people who seek out a financial advisor have the desire to improve or solidify their situation, and I love helping people reach their goals through a well-developed, customized plan. The team and I are dedicated to your success; it’s great to be a part of a team that’s so member-focused!

How can I help you?

I consider myself a financial quarterback who can help you navigate the financial world – through tools like financial planning, investing, insurance and risk management – to make informed decisions without worrying about events out of your control.

I am passionate about getting to know our members and what is important to them to help tailor their financial plan to their needs. My goal is to give people the confidence that they can achieve their goals while providing expert advice and recommendations to help them get there.

About me

I enjoy everything equestrian: My husband and I love competing in combined driving competitions, going on trail drives, and showing horses in several disciplines. I have also had the honour of serving on several Board of Directors over the years, including the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba for 13 years, the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair Draft Horse Show for 12 years, the Manitoba Summer Fair, and the Manitoba Driving Society Inc. for several years.
