Rick Hamilton currently serves on the following Board committees:

Rick Hamilton was born and raised on a dairy farm located near Glenboro, Manitoba. After graduating Glenboro High School, Rick moved to the Artic and worked for Dome Petroleum. Rick used the money he saved working in the north to move back to Manitoba and buy farmland. Rick and his wife Sharon have been farming in the Glenboro area for 40 years with a mixed operation of cattle and grain. They recently left the beef industry to focus on grain farming.   

Rick has served on various boards and is an active community member. Recognizing a need in their community, Rick and Sharon founded the annual Christmas Dinner in Glenboro in 2009. This Christmas Day noon meal with roast turkey and all the trimmings, typically services 90-100 people each year.  Open to residents of Glenboro and the surrounding communities, this event has become a tradition of bringing together a special Christmas Family.   

In his leisure time Rick enjoys driving his classic cars and camping in their RV.
