Westoba’s 2024 Prairie Wonders Calendar Contest is now closed!
This year, twelve winning photographs will be featured in our upcoming 2023 calendar and the winners will also receive a Co-op gift card! This year, in honour of our 60th anniversary, we will be displaying a special cover for the 2024 Calendar.

Examples of the kinds of images we are looking for:
- Your favourite Manitoba nature scene
- Manitoba landmarks
- Representation of both rural & urban MB locations
- Photos from every season in Manitoba
Examples of the kinds of images we are not looking for:
- Photos that include people’s faces
- Businesses or restaurants
- Places outside of Manitoba
Submit high-resolution photos taken in a Horizontal Landscape Position and with an aspect ratio of 16:9. We will accept JPEG, PNG and HEIC photo formats.
Below, are some important contest rules entrants need to follow for a picture to qualify:
- Entry must be received between Monday, April 3rd – Monday, May 1st, 2023, at 12:00 PM
- Entry must include the photographer’s first and last name. If you are submitting a photo on behalf of another photographer, please use their name for the submission. Written consent must also be provided.
- Up to three entries per person
- No watermarks
- Submitted photos cannot be featured in any other credit union calendars this year
- Include a brief caption with your photo that tells us a story (Example: View from the top of Turtle Mountain!)
- Include the location where the photo was taken (Example: Turtle Mountain Provincial Park)
- Photo must be taken in the province of Manitoba
This contest is open to the public, we welcome non-Westoba member submissions.
