Attention, 2024 Manitoba High School Graduates! We’re thrilled to announce that we’re giving away a $1000 cash bursary to one 2024 Manitoba high school graduate. Enter our contest today for a prize that could make a real difference in your future.

Student Bursary Eligibility Criteria:
- Entrant must be a Manitoba High School 2024 graduate.
- Entrant must submit an electronic application.
- Entrant must provide one video OR one written submission with their electronic application submission that highlights their community contributions.
- Video must not exceed 1 GB in size. Acceptable file format: MP4
- Written submission must be between 300 to 800 words in length.
- Submission must include the following topics:
- Your outstanding school, and community leadership contributions.
Example: Extracurricular activities, school involvement, community involvement. - What being a credit union member means to you.
- Your outstanding school, and community leadership contributions.
- Entrants must be a Westoba member to claim the bursary.
- Children/family members of Westoba staff are eligible to enter the bursary contest.
- Entrants to the Student Bursary Contest assign permission for Westoba Credit Union Ltd. to use your images and audio/sound recordings in any media for any purpose and grant Westoba Credit Union Ltd. the rights to images and audio/sound recordings for perpetuity without payment or compensation.
- If an entrant is under the legal age, they must provide permission from a legal guardian with their application.
- Proof of enrollment or acceptance to a post-secondary institution within 12 months post-graduation must be provided to claim the Student Bursary funds.

Student Bursary Contest Rules:
To enter to win the $1000 Student Bursary, contestants must meet the above eligibility criteria. An inability to do so will disqualify the contestant’s entry.
The contest opens on June 10th, 2024, at 10:00 AM CST and will run until June 28th, 2024, at 12:00 PM CST. The winner of the $1000 Student Bursary will be selected by Westoba Credit Union.
To enter, you must submit an electronic application including a video attachment or written submission and permission from a legal guardian if required before the contest period ends.
The winner of the contest must present to the Westoba branch of their choice, proof of graduation from a Manitoba High School and proof of enrollment or acceptance to a post-secondary institution within 12 months post-graduation.
The Student Bursary winner will be asked to visit a Westoba branch for a photo of the bursary presentation – the photo may be used on Westoba-owned digital media properties.
