Hockey season is back in Brandon, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with our community at the Brandon Wheat Kings Home Opener on Friday, September 19th at the Keystone Centre.

The festivities start early! Fans can join us outside on the east side of the Keystone Centre at 3:30 PM for our Assiniboine Credit Union sponsored pre-game tailgate party. Expect plenty of excitement with food trucks, games, live music, giveaways and a chance to connect with fellow fans before the puck drops.
Here’s your chance to say hello to Willie and other mascots while taking in the sweet sounds of Kates Outlaw on the stage. Bring your Wheat Kings pride and get ready for an afternoon of fun leading into the season opener against the Moose Jaw Warriors.
In-Game Fun: Contests, Prizes, and More
Once inside, the excitement continues. As fans enter the building they will be given a Brandon Wheat Kings/ Assiniboine Credit Union rally towel! Throughout the game, fans can look forward to in-game contests, promotions, 360 Photobooth, and the chance to win some great prizes. Keep an eye out for our 7th Player before puck drop and stay until the final buzzer to catch all the action!
