As we continue to work through our merger process, please rest assured that for you, our members, it’s business as usual. For now, your accounts, loans and services remain unchanged, and the same friendly teams you know and trust will continue to serve you.
For now, please continue to access services at your current branches only. We will inform you well in advance, and in multiple ways, when access to other branches will be available. We’re as excited about it as you are!
We are committed to minimizing member impact as we align our systems and processes—and we want the process to be seamless when we merge them, next year. Until then, though, please continue to conduct your day-to-day banking with us as you have been. It’s business as usual.

Building a uniquely Manitoban credit union is a complex undertaking and it will take some time. We will share more about the timing as it becomes available.
And when the operational merger arrives, you will experience a seamless and unified banking experience. This alignment will enable enhanced functionality, improved services and more efficient processes, providing a stronger foundation for meeting your needs and supporting the future growth of your credit union.
Small changes for now
You will start seeing new “Assiniboine Credit Union / Caisse Assiniboine” branding throughout Manitoba. Maybe you’ve already seen some. Next year, close to when our platforms will be unified, branch signage will be updated with the new Assiniboine Credit Union and/or Caisse Assiniboine logo. This will be one way—one of many ways—of letting you know you can soon bank at that location.
Bigger changes are coming
The plan to bring together our three organizations is progressing well. In 2025, we’re focusing on detailed planning, testing and training to ensure a smooth transition for our unified banking platforms. You can expect these important steps in our unification to be rolled out in 2026. But for now, your day-to-day banking continues as usual, with minimal changes until next year.

When will I be able to access my current account at any Assiniboine, Caisse or Westoba branch?
