Representatives from the Somerset Community Hall and Westoba Credit Union met on May 16th to announce funding in the amount of $15,000.00 for the Somerset Community Hall from Westoba’s Inspire program.
The funding from Westoba Inspire is part of Westoba’s 60th anniversary celebration and will be used to upgrade the washroom facilities in the hall with completion of the project aimed at fall of 2023.
“The current handicap stalls are not large enough for a person in a wheelchair to be able to use the washroom and the sinks are also not accessible for someone in a wheelchair,” said Rick Sierens President of the Somerset Community Hall Board.
