Representatives from the Town of Carberry and Westoba Credit Union met on May 18th to announce funding in the amount of $4,500 for the Town of Carberry’s zipline project. These funds are from Westoba Credit Union’s Inspire program as part of Westoba’s 60th anniversary celebration.
“The Town of Carberry and the RM of North Cypress-Langford along with numerous residents and volunteers are working hard to create a new recreation area in town for all residents to enjoy for years to come,” said Sudak. “With a lot of fundraising completed thus far, we have been able to purchase the zipline; these funds will be used to purchase the required safety base needed for the structure.”
The funding from Westoba Inspire is part of Westoba’s 60th anniversary celebration and will be used complete this project in spring 2023.
