Westoba is proud to support facility accessibility improvements at The Wheat City Lawn Bowling Club (WCLBC) in Brandon. Lawn bowling is known to be easy to learn and fun to play and open to all ages and abilities. Through the Westoba Inspire Program, the club received funding to make the facility even more accessible with the installation of a new ramp.
This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to building inclusive communities where everyone feels welcome and supported. Accessible infrastructure like this is an important step toward making this space safer and easier to navigate for seniors and individuals with mobility challenges. The upgrades will allow more people to participate fully in club activities and enjoy the social and health benefits that come with being involved in the club and sport.
A cheque presentation took place during WCLBC’s open house on June 11, 2025, at Rideau Park. Westoba teammates joined the event, which included tours of the facility and a preview of the improvements to come.
