Westoba is pleased to welcome Janet Hnytka to the team!
Janet has worked in the Manitoba credit union system for the last fourteen years. She joined the system working as an Internal Auditor before moving to the credit union regulator, monitoring a portfolio of Manitoba credit unions. Janet previously held the Chief Financial & Risk Officer position at Carpathia Credit Union.
Janet has several years of experience in accounting and internal audit roles in both the agriculture and insurance industries. Her education includes a Certified General Accountant designation (now known as CPA CGA), a Master of Business Administration, Certified Internal Auditor designation and a Certification in Risk Management Assurance.
Janet made the leap to Westoba to join an organization that has a strong culture in implementing improvements and working towards being nimble in an ever-changing environment. Westoba has a lot of interesting projects on the go, and Janet is excited to join the team and be a part of them!
When not busy at work, Janet is a crazy cat lady who enjoys reading and watching movies. She and her husband can be found most weekends during the summer camping with friends and family and travelling in the spring and fall.
