Young Hockey Fans: We’re scouting for our 2021-2022 Westoba Wheat Kings Jr. Reporters!
We’ve partnered with the Brandon Wheat Kings to bring you this incredible opportunity to be this season’s Jr. Reporters!
If you know a budding sports reporter between the ages 5 and 12, we encourage you to help them submit a video of their interviewing skills to show us why they should be a Westoba Wheat King Jr. Reporter! With two Jr. Reporter spots available, they could have the opportunity to interview some of their favourite players.
About the contest:
- Contest runs from September 28th – November 19th, 2021.
- To be eligible, participants must be between five to twelve
- Contest open to Manitoba residents only
- The video must not be longer than one minute.
Prizes:
There are two (2) grand prizes and ten (10) additional prize packs to be won!
Each grand prize will include the following:
- One (1) Brandon Wheat Kings personalized jersey;
- The opportunity to meet and interview Brandon Wheat Kings players. Footage to be used to produce “On The Bench” interviews for a preview at the Brandon Wheat King home games.
- The opportunity for the grand prize winner and family to watch both Brandon Wheat Kings home games where the winners “On The Bench” interview will air. Each Jr. Reporter will be given four (4) tickets seated together to each of the two games when their videos will broadcast; during the video shoots, Jr. Reporters will get a tour of the Wheat King Dressing room.
