Due to an ongoing issue with our Remote Deposit Capture (Deposit Anywhere) function we are requiring members update their Westoba mobile banking app.
Please be advised that as of Monday, October 31, 2022, the previous version of our WestobaGO mobile App (Version 17.1.33) will no longer be supported. Once you update your WestobaGO Mobile App, the Remote Deposit Capture feature will be available. If you haven’t already made the switch to app Version 17.1.71, and do not have automatic updates set up on your device, please visit the App Store or Google Play Store on your device to download the latest version of our app. If you open the previous app on or after October 14th, you will be prompted to download the latest version.
The latest version of the WestobaGO app is compatible with iOS 11 and Android 6.0 or higher. Get more information on mobile app compatibility here.

In some cases, your sign-in information may not have been carried over (memorized), so if you have your MemberCard Number and PAC saved in the WestobaGO Mobile App, you will need to re-enter your information when you sign into the updated version. You will also need to choose a “Nickname“ when signing into the updated app. Click the “Remember Me” feature to save your Login ID and PAC for future use.

Yes, all settings and information saved in our previous app version will be carried over, including important functions such as Bill Payments Schedules, e-Transfers Recipients and Payee Names.
This update will not affect our Online Banking platform which is available via Westoba Credit Union – Personal Banking.
There was an ongoing issue with Remote Deposit Capture (Deposit Anywhere) feature in the application that was causing errors for IOS and Android users when using the remote deposit option. Our vendor continued to investigate the issue and it was determined that an update was required.
- If you have your automatic app update setting is turned on, the app will update automatically.
- If your automatic app update setting is turned off on your phone, your phone will prompt you to update your app, and the old version will no longer be available.
You will need to update your application by October 31, 2022. There will be a countdown pop-up to remind you of your timeline.
No, the app should look and function the same as previously.
