Members with the grandfathered Performance Plus chequing accounts receive the following Buyer Protection and Extended Warranty benefits.
- Buyer Protection covers most retail items for 120 days from date of purchase against loss resulting from theft, damage or destruction
- Home or home-based business purchases are protected
- Higher coverage – up to $60,000 lifetime
- Gifts (without recipient limitations)
- No sublimits on valuables
- All Westoba Performance Plus members are covered
- Worldwide purchases, not just Canadian purchases
- Purchases made with a cheque drawn on your Performance Plus account are also protected
